This will NOT be tolerated. This is UN-American and ANTI-CHRISTMAS!!! Someone has stolen our inflatable Frosty the Snowman from the courtyard area of Spring Meadows Trailer Park! Please get the word out that we have cameras installed everywhere and will catch the thief. I mean, we don't, but we'll get around to it one day. and when we do - we won't tell anyone.
Stealing inflatable Christmas decorations from affluent trailer park courtyards is illegal and considered theft. It can also be considered vandalism if the decorations are damaged or destroyed during the theft.
If you witness someone stealing Christmas decorations, it's important to call Sheriff Branum or one of his deputies immediately to report the theft. Provide a detailed description of the thief and any vehicles or accomplices involved, as well as any other relevant information that may help with the investigation.
To prevent theft of Christmas decorations, there are several steps you can take:
Install motion-activated security lights around your lawn and decorations to deter thieves. As I stated above- we're gonna do this eventually.
Use security cameras to monitor your lawn and capture footage of any thefts that may occur. Again, this is best practices, and Spring Meadows Trailer Park is looking into how to do this.
Anchor your inflatable decorations securely to the ground using stakes or weights, to make them more difficult to steal.
Consider bringing your decorations inside at night or when you are away from your lot. But we don't have the manpower to do this unless we get a sign up sheet with volunteers (see below). .
If possible, form a neighborhood watch group or work with your neighbors to keep an eye out for suspicious activity and report any thefts to the police.
Remember, stealing Christmas decorations is a crime, and those who engage in such behavior can face legal consequences.
I have NO idea who was brave enough to steal from Myrtle's trailer park. C'mon - you know you're gonna get it when she finds ya. And she WILL find ya.
