Broken glass Jello is a fun and colorful dessert that is perfect for parties and special occasions. If I can do it, you can do it, because I'm no pastry chef.
Here's how to make it:
Ingredients:
4 boxes (3 ounces each) of Jell-O in different colors
1 can (14 ounces) of sweetened condensed milk
3 envelopes of unflavored gelatin
Water
Cooking spray
Instructions:
Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Prepare the first layer of Jello according to the package directions. Pour it into the prepared baking dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or until set.
Repeat with the remaining colors of Jello, pouring each layer over the previous layer once it has set.
After the final layer of Jello has set, prepare the milk layer. In a small saucepan, sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over 1 cup of cold water and let it sit for 1 minute. Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, until the gelatin has dissolved.
Remove the mixture from the heat and stir in the sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
Allow the mixture to cool for a few minutes, then pour it over the top of the Jello layers.
Refrigerate the dessert for at least 2 hours, or until set.
To serve, cut the broken glass Jello into squares and serve chilled.
Enjoy your colorful and fun Broken Glass Jello Dessert!
