MURPHY O’SULLIVAN
Riverdance Performer

Murphy O'Sullivan is a hardworking Riverdance performer. An obnoxious one-upper, this entertainer should be avoided at social gatherings. He's not the type of lad to take home to meet the parents - that's for sure.

Murphy is on the Shakin' Shamrock Riverdance team - a group of dedicated cloggers who have led and won the National competition for ten years. Unfortunately, they've recently broken a decade-long winning streak.  Will they be able to make a comeback? 

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Any style of dance costume- i.e. suit with sequins, etc. Optional to wear tap/clogging shoes.

 

CIARA WALSH
Irish Pop Star

Many wonder how this introverted pop idol ever walked onto a stage for the first time. However, this talented singer has become a hit sensation throughout Ireland. International fame and fortune are around the corner for this songbird. That is, if her dreadful attitude doesn't get in the way.

Ciara grew up on a farm with parents that worked before the sun rose and for hours after it disappeared into the horizon. Ciara understands the value of hard work but now worries that her parents are getting to their golden years and should start looking for an easier life.  She wants them to hire a farm manager to run things at home and for them to finally pursue their lifelong dream of owning a quaint coffee shop in town. 

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Wild and crazy pop idol costume. Optional fake/real microphone as a prop. Bright red (or other color) wig as an optional accessory.

 

QUINN DOYLE
Rugby Player

Quinn Doyle is an intellectual rugby player from the Irish Rugby Football League. A dependable person, Quinn is the most loyal friend you'll ever have. Nevertheless, he's bossy and quickly escalates things when they don't go his way. Rage should be Quinn's middle name. 

Quinn is a star player on the team and when he steps on the field, his team knows that he will go to the ends of the Earth to ensure a win.  However, the last game was dreadful. Many commentators speculated that Quinn was either violently ill or working for the opposing team, as they had a record-breaking loss of 89-0.  Where was Quinn's rage that day? Quinn seemed weirdly okay with the loss. 

Some townsfolk have speculated that Quinn's in shock right now - either from the dramatic game loss or because his neighbor's dog attacked and murdered his beloved guinea pig, Cheryl. 

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Rugby uniform or any athletic attire.

 

BREE O’DOHERTY
Weather Reporter

Bree O'Doherty is a friendly weather girl on RBC Television. This climate correspondent gets the party going with innovative dance moves, so get ready to cut a rug with Bree. But beware - a wicked altered ego lurks behind her cheerful façade. Peel the onion skin, and you'll see her inner villain.

Bree is an amateur photographer in her spare time. She recently purchased a Leica SL2 camera with 24-70mm f/2.8 lens. Wow. That's a big purchase for a weather girl, isn't it?  Bree might be making some extra money on the side.  

Bree has recently made moves to move on from weather-predicting and launch into being a business owner. That is - if her pending deal goes through.  Again - where did Bree find the money to purchase a business? She's not that good of a meteorologist. She's amateur at best!

KILLIAN O’ CONNER
Video Editor

Killian O'Conner is an eccentric video editor for RBC Television Station. With an obsessive personality, Killian drives everyone nuts with hyper-extreme attention to detail! As a result, conversations with Killian are long, drawn out, and filled with many irrelevant facts.

Killian is obsessed with figuring out the identity of the Sunday Night Slasher - a serial killer who has plagued Dublin for five years. Unfortunately, the slasher's first kill was Killian's best friend, so that is why Killian has a corkboard with news clippings and push pens tied to red yarn strewn across a map of Dublin in the living room. 

Killian was recently the victim of a hit-and-run accident and is facing having to pay an enormous sum of cash to have the car fixed. Needless to say, Killian is not happy about this.

Killian, along with most of the television station, does not get along with Patrick O'Carroll. However, there's nothing Killian can do, given the job title of Pat's father.

KEIRA O’MAHONEY
Professional Billiards Player

Keira O'Mahoney is a narcissistic professional billiards player. Globally acclaimed for her talent, Keira will dress up in disguise and become a villainous pool shark for extra cash. But, unfortunately, this pool stick wielder isn't to be trusted.

Keira O'Mahoney cannot stand being around Killian O'Conner, but nobody knows why. Maybe it's just their opposite personalities, but when they are around each other, it's like oil and water. 

Keira is a self-professed humanitarian who always seeks out the best in everyone. She can be quite judgmental and will turn her back on anyone who ventures to the dark side. Keira has no room in her life for people who lose their integrity, goodwill, and morals. 

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Trendy attire  (Irish-inspired/green preferred). Optional pool stick and chalk as props. 

 

PATRICK O’CARROLL
Television Cameraman

Patrick O'Carroll is the moody and insensitive television cameraman. Patrick's colleagues at the station can't stand to be involved with his drama, but Pat's father is the C.E.O. of the RBC Television station. Pat will be the first to tell you about his significant job security, so everyone must play nice with him - at least on the surface.  In the breakroom at RBC - well, that's a different story. There's been plenty of Pat Roasts going on. 

However, there might be fractures in Pat's protected position, as his father has recently started dating someone who is in his ear about how terrible Pat is to be around.  The director of human resources wants nothing more than to give this obnoxious camera guy a security escort out the front doors. 

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Casual business attire  (Irish-inspired/green preferred).  Optional video camera (real or fake) as a prop. 

 

CALLIE FLYNN
Receptionist

Callie Flynn is the nosy receptionist at the RBC television station. Callie knows everyone's secrets from eavesdropping on private conversations. For obvious reasons, Callie doesn't have many friends, but many use her as a never-ending source of juicy gossip.

Callie is the only friend to the annoying cameraman at RBC TV station - better known as the dreaded boss's kid, Patrick O'Carroll. Nobody knows why or how Callie can stay friends with Pat. Because of this, many of Callie's colleagues do not trust her.  Rumors have started to fly that Callie is the source of most of the hurtful gossip that circulates at the station, but Callie vehemently denies all of the accusations. 

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Casual business attire (Irish-inspired/green preferred). Optional to have headphones as a prop. 

 

LIAM O’REILLY
Lead Singer of the Ginger Mohawks

Liam O'Reilly is a punk rocker who fronts the band Ginger Mohawks. He is an animal rights activist and heads up various campaigns between his band's tours to local cities in Ireland. Oddly enough, Liam speaks in a singsong voice, which may become off-putting during long chats.

Liam's band has never played outside of the island of Ireland but has hopes and dreams to one day become an international sensation with hit songs worldwide.

Liam has been enduring some family drama lately. Supposedly, his great-grandmother lost a very expensive family heirloom, and to date - it is still missing. The O'Reilly family has nearly exhausted all efforts in recovery attempts, but Liam still holds hope that it will turn up. 

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Punk rock attire  (Irish-inspired/green preferred).  Optional real or fake guitar as a prop. A red Mohawk wig is an optional accessory.

 

CADENCE KAVANAGH
Abstract Artist

Cadence Kavanagh is a paranoid abstract artist convinced that the Irish government spies on her. Many have asked Cadence why the feds would care what a local artist does. She responds with many reasons for the surveillance, but none seem rational.

Cadence is a rather inquisitive person who studies others in an almost awkward and uncomfortable manner. It is as if Cadence is trying to size others up to see if they are really government spies.  It must be difficult to live in such a world of fear where you can trust no one.  Hopefully, someone can eventually convince this sculptor that the feds have no interest in a meager artist from Dublin who delves into nothing nefarious. 

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Trendy attire with optional paint splatters on it (Irish-inspired/green preferred).  A box of aluminum foil is an optional prop if you want to wrap everything so the government can’t spy on you. 

 

AIDAN SWEENEY
Professional Skateboarder

Aiden Sweeney is the most impolite person in Dublin. This skateboarder will ruin any party with blatant displays of utterly offensive behavior.

Aiden is unhappily married to Bree O'Doherty's sister and often boasts about how miserable he makes the O'Doherty family. Nice gent, huh?

Last summer, Aidan four strange men beat him up for no apparent reason. Aiden's physical recovery was far quicker than his mental one. Aiden doesn't feel safe walking in public nowadays and isn't sure if he ever will again.  Most people do not feel sorry for this skateboarder, as he made his bed and it's time for him to lie in it whether he likes the way the sheets are tucked or not. 

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Skateboard attire  (Irish-inspired/green preferred).  An optional skateboard as a prop.

 

ADARA MACDERMOTT
Homemaker

Adara MacDermott is the domineering homemaker and neighborhood gossip. Adara does anything possible to get the scoop on the latest scandals. Luckily, nobody's been able to score any dirt on her. She seems to be hiding something, but what could it be?

Adara is the estranged cousin of the manager of Paddy O'Brian's Irish Pub. Many people have wondered if this estrangement will cause problems for Adara at the St. Patrick's Day bash. Adara doesn't seem to be bothered by anything, as she stormed into the hotspot and bought her ticket to the party without blinking an eye. How could Adara hear any of the juiciest rumors if she doesn't attend the biggest party in town? 

Some feel sorry for Adara, however. Rumor has it that she and her late husband were in a silly argument right before he mysteriously passed away. It must have been traumatizing to lose the love of her life on a negative note without answers or resolve on how he left her behind.

MORGAN O’LEARY
Astrophysicist

Morgan O'Leary is a socially-inept astrophysicist. In addition, Morgan is a budding comic that takes the stage twice a week during amateur nights at the neighborhood comedy club. Morgan is a hilarious nerd who has a knack for making an audience cry with laughter.

Morgan lives to perform at the club and had said on multiple occasions to colleagues that it makes them feel alive for once.  Unfortunately, this escape might be coming to an end, and Morgan is heartbroken. Recently, Morgan took the stage and was slaying until becoming a victim of an obnoxious soul in the shadows of the back row.  Who goes to a comedy club on an amateur night to bully the comics? These brave joke tellers are taking turns with the microphone to try out their skills on what they believe should be an understanding and patient crowd. It's as if this horrible heckler demanded that Morgan give a top-notch performance at the level of the comedy greats or something.

FLANAGAN SHEEHAN & THE MIDNIGHT HEROES
Wannabe Superhero

Flanagan Sheehan has been unemployed since he inherited his great-grandmother's home. He borrows cash for his living experiences, and as ducks fly with ducks, Flanagan hangs out with his fellow mooches daily. This group of moochers nicknamed themselves 'The Midnight Heroes.' By the light of the moon, this clique pretends to be superheroes protecting the streets of Dublin.

Flan's mother has a steady stream of sympathy (and money) for this mooch and their friends. However, many of Flan's mom's closest pals have been using their connections in Dublin to score job interviews for Flan. The last thing that Flanagan wants is to have to go to a nine-to-five - or any job for that matter. Anyone who tries to help get this unemployed vigilante some honest work will be on Flan's naughty list.

RILEY O’KEEFE & THE DUBLIN GREASERS
Motorcycle Gang Leader

Riley O'Keefe is the cordial leader of the motorcycle gang, the Dublin Greasers. A butcher by day, this biker diva roars down the streets of Dublin at night. Riley's mission is to ensure her fellow bikers wear superior attire and are better on a bike than the rival gang members from the Dublin Motonauts.

Riley has had her eye on a vintage Harley Davidson bike that is potentially for sale in town. She will do anything in her power to ensure the bike doesn't end up in the Dublin Motonauts' hands. 

Riley is a season ticket holder for rugby but never can seem to wear the proper attire to the games. Riley always takes her seat shouting about the incorrect weather forecast. Riley is starting to think these inaccurate predictions are on purpose but why would that be?

FIONA COLLINS
Telemarketer

This rude vixen of the phone lines will ruin your relaxing night at home with relentless telemarketing sales calls! The regulars at Paddy O’Brian’s Pub avoid this fiend of the phones, as she’s the rudest person at the pub.

Nobody knows why Fiona has an angry bee in her bonnet, but many want to get her a new hat.

ROXY O’REILLY-RICHE
Heiress

Roxy O’Reilly-Riche is the snooty heiress and twelve-time widow.  Her mansion is the only one in the town, but nobody’s been invited to come inside. The neighbors often wonder what this ritzy diva is hiding.

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: A glamorous evening gown (green preferred). Money bags as optional props.

 

KATHLEEN MACDERMOTT
Manager of Paddy O’Brian’s Pub

Kathleen MacDermott is the moody and insensitive owner of Paddy O’Brian’s Pub.  Nobody likes to be around Kathleen because of her violent mood swings, but her pub is a hot spot in town! Kathleen is estranged from the rest of the MacDermotts in the city, but couldn't care less. Kathleen is aware that her cousin, Adara MacDermott, purchased a ticket to the event. She will refuse to give Adara any special treatment for being 'family.'

HILAR T. O’SHEA & FRIENDS
Comic

Hilar T. O’Shea is the outgoing and sugary-sweet local comedian.  Hilar performs twice a week at the neighborhood comedy club.  If Hilar’s around, everyone is laughing.  He rarely goes anywhere without his best buddies and fellow comics from the club.

MORALES MCCARTHY
Motivational Speaker

Morales McCarthy is a top-notch motivational speaker.  Single and living with ten cats in a tiny condo, Morales often spews rhetoric of government conspiracy theories.  Morales is pure dynamite when speaking to a big audience, but doesn’t have much to say one-on-one.

TEX MCBULTAMER
Rodeo Cowboy

          If there were a movie named Cowboy and a Gentleman, Tex McBultamer would have the starring role.  Chivalry is alive and well according to Tex, as he hands the world to the ladies. However, Tex is a no-nonsense cowboy and says what comes to mind!  If you’re dodging the truth, stay clear of this good ‘ole boy.  

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Any cowboy (western) attire  (Irish-inspired/green preferred). An optional prop is a toy gun.

 

MOYA O’PLANCE
Professional Gardener and World Traveler

          Moya O’Plance is an adventurous soul - a jet setter, talented gardener, and nature lover, Moya has traveled around the world and experienced cultures and cuisine that most will only ever see on exotic television shows!  Moya burns hours of the day tending to her many greenhouses and gardens.

COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Casual attire for a gardener (Irish-inspired/green preferred), hair pulled back into a ponytail. Gardening gloves, flowers, and a small gardening shovel as optional props. Or, dress like a flower or a garden gnome - why not? 

 

MARY O’HARE
Hairstylist

Don’t bother bringing a picture of a hairstyle, because if you sit in Mary’s salon chair, you’re getting her signature style. Mary’s cut is outdated by nearly sixty years, and her clients look identical. This retro-loving hair diva has her trademark style down, and it’s the best of its kind.
