Poni Mulokeli is a hardworking performer for the Oceanside Palace Hotel Luaus on Sunset Beach. Not the most popular staff member, she can be an obnoxious one-upper. Therefore, extended chats with this feisty entertainer are worth avoiding - if you know what’s good for you.

ROBBIE PETERS

Robbie Peters is a Hollywood hunk who is vacationing—in total disguise—for a month in Hawaii with his co-star Kirstin Withers. They’re relaxing in between films, hidden far from the paparazzi. But Robbie’s narcissism and arrogant attitude are a little much for the laid-back staff of the Oceanside Palace Hotel. Robbie is traveling under the alias Harry Spotter.

KIRSTIN WITHERS
Hollywood Actress / Tourist
Kirstin Withers is one of Hollywood's most likable young stars—at least, that's the side of this star she's allowed the press to see! Away from the glitz and glam, this spoiled diva unleashes angry tirades if she doesn't get her way. Disguised as an average Jane, she craves the attention she usually receives as a Hollywood starlet. Kirstin is traveling under the alias Paula Jaxson.

TIKI HUTMAN
Beach Lifeguard/ Hawaiian Resident
Tiki Hutman was born in Southern California but moved to Maui when he was only eight.  He grew up on the Maui beaches and is the head lifeguard at the Oceanside Palace Hotel’s Sunset Beach. With an outgoing personality, Tiki loves to show off his innovative dance moves.  He’s the one to kickstart a party – hopefully, while he’s off-duty. The locals are concerned that Tiki might be losing his edge as a lifeguard.
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Beach attire or lifeguard costume with an optional whistle.

 

LOVEY POWELL
Heiress / Tourist
Lovey Powell is a billionaire heiress who spends her pampered life vacationing in exotic locations. One of her many mansions worldwide is located on the beautiful island of Maui, which she refers to as her home base. Lovey often stays at resorts on the beach to flaunt her money. Unfortunately, this wealthy diva considers everyone to be subservient to her. Bossy is her middle name!
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Wear very expensive-looking beach attire with money (fake) bags and money coming out of every pocket. Wear large costume jewelry.

 

JACK MARROW
Deep-Sea Fisherman/ Resident Tourist
Jack Marrow is quite an odd character. Hailing from the Southern Louisiana Bayous, Jack travels the world searching for the best deep-sea fishing. He recently accepted a job hosting fishing excursions because he ran out of cash during his month-long vacation and needed more funds to return home to the mainland. Jack goes by Captain Jack Marrow and is famous for his pirate impersonations.
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Fisherman attire. Optional pirate costume/props. Optional rubber fish as props.

 

COCO BEACHES
College Student / Tourist
Coco Beaches is a seemingly naive University of Northern Texas college student. She won her trip to the resort by winning a Hawaiian trivia challenge on a local radio station. Coco lacks common sense but claims to have earned a 4.0 GPA thus far in pursuing a biochemistry degree. No matter her academic status, she's all about having fun.
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Trendy and young beach attire.

 

ANO HALOA
Waiter / Hawaiian Local
Ano Haloa is a nosy waiter at the Oceanside Palace Hotel.  He might not seem to be paying attention to the conversation at your table but make no mistake – this meddlesome maître d' keeps a journal and knows everything about every guest at the hotel!  Be careful what you say around Ano, as the rumor is that he’s trying to overhear about a scandal so he can have a big payday with the tabloids! 
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Waiter uniform or black shirt/pants with a half apron (bartender’s apron).

 

HOLI MULOKELI
Greeter / Hawaiian Local
Holi Mulokeli is an overly excited greeter and lei presenter at the Oceanside Palace Hotel. The locals know to avoid her, but the tourists must deal with her powerful energy bursts upon their arrival at the resort. Holi is all about hospitality and takes her job very seriously. However, her intense enthusiasm has made children cry, and animals scamper for cover. Holi’s sister is the hotel’s lead hula dancer, Poni Mulokeli. 
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Luau performer attire. Flower (real or silk) in hair.  Leis are highly suggested accessories.

 

SOL BOATMAN

Donut Artist / Tourist
Sol Boatman recently won a lawsuit against a large fast-food chain for burning his lip on an overly heated hamburger. He’s using his winnings to travel the world—starting with Maui! Sol is a recently retired donut artist who is enjoying the break from working dawn to dusk on sugary confections. Sol is on a world adventure with a large group of his friends.
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Nerdy beach attire.

 

SOL BOATMAN'S FRIENDS
Mooching Travel Companions / Tourist

After Sol Boatman won a lawsuit against a fast-food chain for an overly heated hamburger, many of Sol's former friends crawled out of the woodwork upon hearing the news. Sol has recently rekindled relationships with many old friends who wanted to travel the world with him.

Freelance Photographer / Tourist
Lenzi Flash is a tenacious freelance photographer from New York City. She always manages to get just the right photos for big scoops in the media and sells them to the highest bidder! There is nothing that Lenzi won’t do to get the photos, and she is not above blackmailing celebrities to get some extra cash.
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Wear obvious tourist attire (you’re undercover), and use a camera (real or fake) as an optional prop.

STAN GRABLE
College Student / Tourist
Stan Grable is the ultimate ‘Big Man on Campus’ at Badams College.  He’s the president of Alpha Beta Fraternity, the quarterback of the university football team, and the student body president.  Stan seems like the perfect man – until you see how he treats the nerds at the university.
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Very trendy poolside attire that an athlete would wear.

 

STAN GRABLE'S FRIENDS

Stan Grable is the ultimate ‘Big Man on Campus’ at Badams College.  He always has a group of his nerd-hating friends with him.  His friends are very loyal and would do anything that Stan wants them to do.

ADOLPHI SHARX 
Marine Biologist / Hawaiian Resident
Adolphi Sharx is the nerdy head marine biologist at Ocean World, the local amusement park in Maui. If you say anything slightly amusing about this animated sea-life genius, brace yourself for loud, crazy laughter!
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Conservative/nerdy poolside attire. Glasses with a taped bridge as an optional prop. Optional to create and wear an ‘Ocean World’ name badge.

 

ADOLPHI SHARX'S COLLEAGUES 
Marine Biologist / Hawaiian Residents
Adolphi Sharx heads a team of super nerds who spend their days taking care of and studying marine life at Ocean World, a local amusement park in Maui. Adolphi’s colleagues are a tight-knit group.
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Conservative/nerdy poolside attire. Glasses with a taped bridge as an optional prop. Optional to create and wear an ‘Ocean World’ name badge.

 

MAKA NANI
Luau Dancer / Hawaiian Local
Maka Nani is a very beautiful and charismatic luau dancer and Hawaiian local.  She is full of energy until she has a narcoleptic episode.  She randomly falls fast asleep at inopportune times…even while performing at the Oceanside Palace Hotel’s luau!
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Hawaiian top and grass skirt. Flower (real or silk) in hair. 

 

MIDAS KING
Entrepreneur / Tourist
There is absolutely nothing that Midas King can’t do!  Midas constantly starts new business ventures – from his own record label to an enormous motor speedway! This industrialist has his hands in everything! Oddly enough, Midas aspires to become a standup comic one day.
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Rich-looking and trendy poolside attire. Fake money pouring out of every pocket, etc. as optional props.

 

DANGER STORM
Reality Television Star / Tourist
Lack of concern and ultra-competitiveness sum up this reality television star! The ill-mannered behavior of Danger Storm can be shocking at times, but it’s well-suited for reality television shows! There isn’t much that Danger hasn’t done on television, but if there is a challenge ahead, she’s the first to dive in and try it!
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Wear very casual poolside attire, with optional bandages for fake injuries and a bag of plastic insects/snakes as a prop.

 

WADEN PHILSON
NFL Head Coach / Tourist
Waden Philson is the obnoxious NFL coach of the Dallas Ranchers professional football team. Known to be boorish and overly bossy, this football coach is one to steer clear of at any gathering - except for a football game.
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Semi-athletic attire or business suit. Football and a whistle as optional props.

 

LELANI LAKA
Ukulele Player / Hawaiian Local
Lelani Laka is the rather introverted ukulele player for the Oceanside Palace Hotel.  She’s definitely the one to go to if you need someone to listen to you.  Just don’t expect to get much in return, as Lelani’s not known for engaging in stimulating conversation.
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Hawaiian top and grass skirt. Flower (real or silk) in hair. Ukulele as an optional prop.

 

SONNY FISHWELL
Dolphin Trainer / Hawaiian Resident
Sonny Fishwell is the fun-loving dolphin trainer from the local theme park in Maui called Ocean World. If you want to know anything about dolphins, Sonny’s the expert! Just don’t let the overly-friendly persona and pasted-on smile bother you, as those closest to Sonny say that s/he has good intentions.
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Poolside attire. Whistle &/or stuffed dolphins as optional props. Optional to create and wear an ‘Ocean World’ name badge.

 

CRUZ STASHUNS
Executive Chef / Hawaiian Resident
Cruz Stashuns is the executive seafood chef at The Buttered Crab, the Oceanside Palace Hotel’s fine-dining restaurant. Known to be somewhat of a klutz, you might not want to stand too close to this bumbling crab boiler!
COSTUME SUGGESTIONS: Chef’s attire. Fake crabs, lobsters, etc. as optional props.
