INDY INDIGO

PASTRY CHEF

Chef Indigo is the beloved pastry chef and owner of Indy’s Treats– the town’s busiest bakery on Bleak Street. Chef Indigo has been baking for over a decade and has recently been in talks for a reality show. However, the townsfolk love their privacy and the seclusion the isolated town confers. The last thing the residents of Godley Hollow want are cameras lurking about the streets. Indy moved to Godley Hollow from Canada decades ago

EARLY LIFE:

Indigo was born in Belleville, Ontario, Canada.  Indy's parents recognized their child's cooking abilities at four years old and by ten, Indy was making Sunday dinner for the extended family every week, as well as cooking banquets for school and church events.

In grade school, Indy was sometimes kicked out of class for misbehaving, but because of the child prodigy culinary talent, never served any punishment. Indy studied culinary arts at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.

BUSINESS CAREER: Indy Indigo currently works as a pastry chef in a business owned by Indy, Indy's Treats. The bakery is located on Bleak Street in the center of town in Godley Hollow.

Indy previously worked as the personal chef for Roland Kingsley straight out of culinary school. After five years of loyalty, Roland fired Indy, citing multiple incidents of food poisoning and bland offerings as the reasons for termination. Indy took the severence pay and opened Indy's Treats, which is now noted as the best bakery in town.

Indy is being considered for Cupcake Masters - a reality show that features a different bakery each season to highlight. The Godley Hollow Town Council has fought with the executive producers about bringing cameras to town.
